Known as ‘The President’s Ambassador’ on Wall Street, Robert Wolf is one of Obama’s closest allies. Among the family photos in Wolf’s office is a picture of him [Wolf] dribbling a basketball around Obama in what appears to be a semi-competitive game of one-on-one to which Wolf jokes: “You can see he’s on his heels”.

Named one of the 100 Most Powerful People in Finance by Worth magazine, Wolf is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of 32 Advisors and host of webcast “Impact Players” on the Reuters Channel on YouTube TV. 32 Advisors provides cross-border advice to the private sector and sovereign governments on economic, strategic and financial issues. Prior to forming 32 Advisors, he spent 18 years at UBS, after spending approximately 10 years at Salomon Brothers in Fixed Income Sales and Trading.

A notable economic advisor and business leader, Wolf was appointed a member of President Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness from 2011-2013, a member of the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board from 2009-2011 and was on the Homeland Security Advisory Council’s Border Infrastructure Task Force in 2012.

He serves on the Undergraduate Executive Board of the Wharton School, the Council on Foreign Relations and on the Athletics Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania. Wolf also serves on the boards of a number of non-profit institutions including the Robert F Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights, the Partnership for NYC, the Children’s Aid Society and the Leadership Council for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

Wolf graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics in 1984.
